Love that combo.

I don't think I've ever put anything other than berries in my pancake mix. Might have to experiment with that! Molly and Freddy get a treat at my parents' house when they stay overnight - Papa makes pancakes topped with melty eggs. It's their favorite!!Virginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04794033374415980973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5320851851063425852.post-88443401861560204772010-03-03T09:11:36.224-06:002010-03-03T09:11:36.224-06:00I leave myself about four minutes for breakfast on...I leave myself about four minutes for breakfast on school days, so lately I've been baking steel-cut oats with apples, raisins, and pecans once a week and microwaving a portion every morning. It's amazing and keeps me full much longer than Autumn Wheat.

On Sunday Austin and I decided we weren't feeling like getting presentable and going out to brunch, so we scoured the pantry & freezer and ended up with corn, green pea, and goat cheese pancakes topped with poached eggs. They were kind of amazing, actually.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5320851851063425852.post-43317020608116792142010-03-03T00:07:38.105-06:002010-03-03T00:07:38.105-06:00Breakfast is my favorite meal, especially scramble...Breakfast is my favorite meal, especially scrambles. You can take scrambled eggs and put almost anything in them! I only put ham and cheese in mine though, because that's usually all I have in the house. :)Jeniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05477406556380341819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5320851851063425852.post-66325187377120212582010-03-02T23:06:37.989-06:002010-03-02T23:06:37.989-06:00Those pancakes look great! I use dried cherries instead of cranberries, but that's probably a local thing living in the self-proclaimed Cherry Capital of the World.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17095317081756856657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5320851851063425852.post-78082285771014278842010-03-02T23:05:18.109-06:002010-03-02T23:05:18.109-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17095317081756856657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5320851851063425852.post-72772080443800090162010-03-02T22:56:19.422-06:002010-03-02T22:56:19.422-06:00Oh, wow. You (and evidently Bill, too) are so creative and good with food, you make me want to be better at it so that I can enjoy these wonderful things too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
